Filipino Migrant Ministry
We are a community of professionals and non-professionals whose aim is to reach out to and promote camaraderie among the growing number of Filipino parishioners at SVDP through warm fellowship and meaningful worship experience.

We organise guided group sessions for migrants every Sunday 2:30-4:30pm (except for 2nd Sunday when there is a Tagalog mass) and run the SVDP Migrant Canteen once every 2 months on Sundays 7am-noon.

Through the facilitated sessions, our participants experience more deeply God’s love through Scripture reading, reflection and prayer, discuss practical life issues, improve oneself, enjoy fellowship with friends, and develop a sense of belonging to the parish and community.

We welcome more participants to join the sessions regularly. We also welcome members of our SVDP Parish (regardless of race) who can contribute to the sessions by facilitating discussion topics/activities. For Canteen, we welcome members who can help out in food preparation, cooking, serving and housekeeping.
