Choir - Lumen Christi (Sun 7AM)
Lumen Christi Choir (LCC) is a choir ministry serving the 7am Mass on Sunday mornings. Lumen Christi means Light of Christ in Latin, and we want to be the light of Christ through our singing and praising.

We are largely a family choir comprising married couples, parents, children and siblings. We usually have breakfast after Mass, and start practice at 8.45am. To ground ourselves in the Word of God and to build the community, we start off with breaking of the Word, sharing and prayer before we commence with practice proper, which ends at about 10.30am.

On top of the Sunday Masses, we are also involved in Combined Choir efforts, Mass of Obligations whenever we are rostered and other ad hoc events such as Feast Day Dinner or Christmas Light-up.

To be sure, we are not looking for professional singers or musicians, but we are looking for people who want to deepen their relationship with God through the joy of service and love for music. Most of the members do not have any background in music, but we are very sure when God calls you to a ministry or vocation, He will bestow the gifts and talents necessary, and the choir will be there to bring these gifts out of everyone!
