Entering the Holy Week

ISSUE #57 (March 2024)

At the release of this issue, we have entered into Holy Week. In this newsletter, we get to know our Elect and Candidates who will be baptised on Easter Sunday and we offer up a prayer for them. We also discover more about the Easter Triduum as well as The Office of Tenebrae, and hear from Jerome Wong about his faith journey. Kids will also learn at our Kids’ Zone.

Welcome Issue

In this issue, we sit down with Deacon Clarence and get to know him better, and so can you with our “7 Questions with…” column. The issue also takes inspiration from the occasion of Valentine’s Day to explore topics on relationships examining the relationship between Joseph and Mary as well as the Couple Mentor Journey programme. We also look into the Pope’s message on the importance of providing companionship, care and support to individuals who are ill.

Inaugural Issue of Song for Vincent

My dear parishioners, it is my pleasure to introduce this inaugural issue of our parish newsletter, “Song for Vincent.” During this unprecedented period in our lives, when all of us have to cope with changes and deal with anxieties while physically apart from each other, we hope that this weekly electronic newsletter can help in a small way to re-connect you with the parish community and provide you with some spiritual sustenance.
